new camera - test run!

I got a new camera!  WAHOOOOOOO!!!  It's a fancy Canon, that's pretty much all I know about it.  And!  It took these.  At Cornado Heights.  It also took some really great pictures of the kids.. but I'm not posting those tonight :)  Maybe tomorrow ;)

Kansas is sure pretty, I don't care what anyone says.

Preseason Week 1: Chiefs vs. Cardinals

 We're fired up and ready for some football following the Chiefs impressive showing on Friday vs. Arizona!  It was also Aiden's first game :)  He's a natural born football fan, attending games last year in my tummy.  He thoroughly enjoyed the festivities and made it all the way to the middle of the 4th quarter before getting fussy!  Way to go, buddy!

Bumbo time!

2 months!

 I can't believe our little man is 2 months old already!!!!!

Let's start with the basics.  He was 10 lbs 1 oz at his 2 month checkup and 22.5 inches long.  He's a tiny guy!!  He recently started smiling like crazy and cooing.  Mommy gets the most smiles!  Ava loves her brother and is being told A LOT to quit touching him while he's asleep!!!!  She keeps asking to "carry him."  She is an affectionate and loving little girl.  Aiden can almost roll over from side to side, but he can roll over to the right.  He holds his head up and can stand!  He is starting to clutch objects and swing at things dangling from his carseat and play gym!  His favorite food is milk.  (hehe)  And he has beautiful blue eyes!!
