Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

We came back to Kansas City last night to a little more snow than we had in McPherson! It snowed overnight and again this morning, bringing our grand total to approximately 12 inches. Here are some pics from our "snow day" today. Ava didn't really love playing in the snow but she sure looked cute in her snowsuit!

Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas! We spent the day at 4 different Christmases in McPherson. Ava had a really long day but it was wonderful spending the holiday with all of our family. Here are some pictures from my parents camera. I will upload some from our camera once we get back to KC!

last weekend nana and poppa brought Ava's big Christmas present to our house in Kansas City. She got a Radio Flyer red wagon! She LOVED it :)

Week 14 - Chiefs vs. Bills

Another week.. another ounce of hope for our Chiefs.. turns into.. another disappointment :(

Ava the Toddler

Ava is now in full blown toddler mode. How do I know? She can destroy an entire room in less than ten seconds! Besides the destructiveness... Ava's hair has finally gotten long enough for me to put in a ponytail (see pic 1) and pigtails (pic 2). Just when we thought she couldn't get any cuter :) She is also mocking us non-stop (only cute..sometimes). Her newest thing the other night during Sunday Night Football was mocking her daddy by yelling at the TV. Enjoy the video!

Border War 2009 - KU vs. Mizzou

We went to Arrowhead again today to see our University of Kansas Jayhawks take on Mizzou (boo). It was an awesome game, but we ended up losing on a last second field goal. Oh well, we're still thankful to be Jayhawks and are looking forward to an awesome basketball season!

Light Up the Plaza

It was sooo cold but we all bundled up and headed out for the 80th annual Light Up the Plaza ceremony at the Country Club Plaza. Complete with carolers, Christmas music, and fireworks.. it was a good way to mark the start of Christmas season!  Happy Black Friday! You won't see me doing any shopping today though.. I'm anti-crowds. :)
