happy thanksgiving!

 I don't have many pics, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day!  We have so much to be thankful for.  We are thankful for each other and our kids, because they mean the world to us.   We are thankful for our loving family and friends, our home, James' job, our health, our safety, our freedom, the ability to put food on the table.. and we are thankful that our Chiefs are 9-2.  Basically, we are thankful for our lives and especially thankful for a healthy baby girl that will be joining us in less than 2 months!

 And happy birthday to meemaw!  We love you!!

steph's getting married {ten nineteen}

On 10.19.13, my sister Stephanie got married.  She was the most gorgeous bride and the day was perfect.  I didn't do a lot of picture taking because I was IN the wedding, so I apologize that these are mostly of my kids.  I also don't want to infringe any copyrights, so the professional pictures I posted I took from Steph and are courtesy The Waldron Photography Co.    We are happy to welcome Jared into our family!  Thank you for asking us to be a part of your day :)

 someone has a new "face" :P

aiden was feeling left out with all of the recent "ava" pictures.

he is growing like a weed and has an entire mouth full of teeth!  I will count them when he wakes up and report back :):)

ava's 5 year pics {take one}

 Ava was a little less than cooperative for me to do her 5 year photos, so we only got through 2 outfits and 3 locations.. but here's what turned out :)  We won't be venturing back out today, unless we want sleet in the background!  It's hard to believe THIS was the weather yesterday, and now it's winter!  KANSAS!

Ava, even though you gave me a lot of attitude and even more fake smiles, you are still the most beautiful little girl in the world and it is an absolute pleasure to be your mommy!
