Chiefs Draft Day Party!

On Saturday, we went to Arrowhead for the Kansas City Chiefs official draft day party! It was held at the Chiefs indoor practice facility. We tailgated before and got to meet Chiefs players and cheerleaders! The highlight of the day was when we got to meet Jamaal Charles and get his autograph! Oh, and the second highlight was me getting my new Matt Cassel jersey!!! Adios, TG.. thanks for the great years! The low point of the day was when the Chiefs took Tyson Jackson with the number 3 pick INSTEAD of the awesome Aaron Curry. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong about that!

6 month checkup!

Ava had her 6 month checkup and shots this morning. She weighed in at 18 lbs even and 27 3/4 inches, which puts her in the 70th percentile for weight and 90th for height! She did really well with her shots and was showing off her pretty smile for all of the nurses. She's a perfectly healthy, growing little girl!

HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY AVA!!!!!!!

Our baby girl is 6 months old today! It's amazing how fast the time has gone. We are having a little birthday party for her later.

Ava has brought so much joy and happiness to our lives and we thank God every day for such a beautiful blessing. We love you so very much Ava. Happy 1/2 birthday!

Ginger goes to PROM!

This weekend, Ava and I were in McPherson again to see my sister Dani go to her first prom. Steph and I did her hair and makeup! She looked absolutely beautiful. Hope you had a good time Ginger!!

Friday, April 10 was not only Good Friday, but it was also the Kansas City Royals home opener vs. the New York Yankees.  It's amazing how far $250 million can go! The K doesn't even look the same!

Then, on Monday, we went again to see the Royals take on the Cleveland Indians with Steph and Austin. It was waaaay too cold to be at a baseball game! We were in our winter coats with scarves, earmuffs, etc.
