Blue.Car.Baby.

I spontaneously decided to paint one of our bathrooms on Saturday, so here are the before and after!  I'm slowly but surely introducing this house to color!  What do you think!?
It's not really as *dark* or as *blue* as it looks.. it's definitely more turquoise but of course I can't get the camera to cooperate with me on that one :)

And finally.. momma got new wheels!  Can't you tell we were excited?!

ps - I'm 2 cm/60% and he's in position (YIKES)  Guess we're having a baby soon!  Growth sonogram next week to check his height/weight!

Spaghetti Night @ the Bogener's

 Yum!!

And yet somehow.. spaghetti night in our house always ends up like this.
 And this.

Because she..
likes to hug that...
which results in this.
 The end.

Project Nursery - Complete!

When James and I started theme-shopping for a little boy's nursery.. I wasn't impressed.  At all.  Sports, jungles, transportation, nautical - it was all so predictable to me.  We started talking about concepts and ideas and my initial thought was that I wanted something soothing, calming; a neutral palette, if you will.  What we came up with follows in the pictures below, and I have to say, we are quite pleased :)

The light fixture is actually original to the house, and is baby blue!
The bedding was a generous gift from my parents, the Sweet Lambie collection from Pottery Barn Kids
And the other details are just little things I picked up and made here and there!

Come out and play, baby Bogey!  Your new room is ready and waiting!

Here's *my* before and after!

Ava's Preschool Program

Ava's preschool program and last day of school was on Tuesday :(

The kids put together a singing program from songs they learned throughout the year.  Ava didn't start until February, so she didn't know a lot of the songs, but she did SUCH a good job!  Her teacher gave us a report card and packet of projects they did throughout the year.  Ava passed every single developmental goal for the 3 year old preschool class.. and then some!  We are so proud of her :)  Unfortunately, she wasn't even old enough to attend the 3 year old class this year (because of her October birthday, she was 2 when the school year started..), so she will be in this class again next year!  It will be a challenge to keep her challenged!  Be sure and check out the video -- cuteness overload.

We are SO proud of you, Ava!
This was Ava's self-portrait she drew for the front of her report card.  She wrote her own name, too!
