Spring Break in Mac

Finley's birthday party

 Lesson learned.  When your child has a January birthday, you must plan the party BEFORE Christmas.  After the hustle and bustle of the holiday's, I looked at the calendar one day and thought.. "huh.  Finley's birthday is in a couple days."  Didn't plan a party.  Didn't send invitations.  So.. we did a last minute party with just my parents and siblings!  I will remember this for next year!!!

Thank you to all of the well wishes, happy birthday's, presents, cards, etc.  We are so honored to have such wonderful friends and family!

Finley Grace turns O-N-E!

 Where does time go?  Finley Grace is a whole year old.

At one, Finley is the sweetest baby I've ever met.  She loves to be held, give kisses and hugs, and she will crawl right up to you and put her arms up to be picked up.  (it's crazy adorable)  She isn't walking, but she pulls to standing and walks between objects.  She has SIX teeth (yikes) and her favorite foods are mac and cheese, eggs, and fruits and veggies.  She doesn't sleep through the night, but I'm (mostly) used to it!  Finley is my cupboard and drawer emptier.  She just loooooves going through those cabinets and dragging it all out to the floor.  I don't have stats on her, but I think she's a healthy 24 lbs, thanks to her incredible thigh rolls ;). 

For her birthday, we had a party with our friends  in the morning, then went and picked up daddy for lunch!  We ate at Buca di Beppo on the plaza, then came home for a snooze until Ava got home from school.  We had mommy's famous mac and cheese for dinner, then cake and presents.

Holy toledo, time flies.  Happy birthday Finley Grace.  We love you so very much!!!
