Baby day!!!
I went into labor Sunday night and headed to the hospital, where I was admitted at 2 am. It's 7:20am now and contractions are 2 minutes apart. Stay tuned!!!

Life {through the lens of a 5 year old}
For Ava's 5th birthday, we bought her a real digital camera. Not a kids camera, but something she could grow into (hopefully) and use to take real pictures. Anyways, I put a memory card in it and set her loose. About a week ago, I decided to upload all 345 pictures that she has taken from October-now. I must say.. some of them were impressive. She's learned to zoom and some still turn out blurry, but here is a small sample of what life looks like through the lens of a five year old.

A new year, a new adventure
2014 will be an exciting year for us! With our baby girl due any day now, we are also preparing for another big change. In February, we will be moving to KC, as James has accepted an offer with UMKC/TMC that we are very excited about. These things seem to happen all at once, and sometimes at busy times, but this was an opportunity he couldn't refuse. To be continued....
