Introducing.. Lucy Belle

We're crazy, we know.  New house, new baby, new dog.  But look at this face!

Lucy Belle Bogener is almost 8 weeks old and is a purebred yellow lab.  She was the last of her litter, which made us a little nervous.. but it turns out.. she's just a *wittle* chunkier than her siblings!  She was also the "whitest."  

She eats.  A lot.

There was a lot of confusion on who's kennel this was and how it was to be used.  For Ava, it's pretend Jail, and for Lucy.. it's definitely Jail.

The Fresh Beat Band, Live!

Anyone who's been around Ava over the past two years.. knows she loves the Fresh Beat Band.  It was the first TV show she was ever interested in, and she loves music and dancing.  We were so lucky to get tickets to their FIRST EVER tour.. only a half mile away from our house :)  When I first saw the commercials airing on Nick Jr, it said "catch the Fresh Beat Band in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and more!"  Yeah.. and Salina, Kansas!!!!  

 What a great day :)

I've always lived in houses with neutral colors, some by force.. some by choice.  This house was no different, but we I saw some really good opportunities for color!  Nonetheless, we're extremely happy with how our rooms have turned out thus far.

 We've really enjoyed spending time with our family.  We went and watched my cousin Alex play high school bball last weekend!

I apologize for the lapse in blogging!  It's been a crazy past few weeks.  We're finally getting settled and we've been spending a lot of time on the house and with family.  More pics to come :)
