SNOWmageddon!
The Kansas City news is calling this snowstorm "snowmageddon.." I'm not really sure about the name, but we do have a lot of snow! Here are some pictures from our adventure playing in it today!
it looks weird not being able to see driveways, streets, yards, etc!
I'm having some problems posting pictures to the blog. I'll work on getting it back up and running soon!

Ava gets "Tangled!"
We decided it was finally time to take Ava to see her first movie in the theater. MeLeah recommended we see Tangled, and wow.. are we glad we did! All throughout the previews Ava kept saying "Toy!" which is what she calls Toy Story, so we thought she would be disappointed when it didn't come on, but she loved the movie -- and we did too! She was such a good girl during the movie. She munched on popcorn, twizzlers and apple juice.. and any time I would say something she would say "shhh, MOVIE!"
On Saturday, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the KU game and get some lunch, and as I started eating my wings Ava kept saying "Mommy I want BITE!" 6+ wings later....
Who knows, maybe they can use this for advertising?!Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Chiefs/Family/CUTE!
Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to lately! The first one is from dinner a few weeks ago, followed by Morris family dinner before the Chiefs game.. then the dreaded Chiefs/Ravens playoff game.. then another dinner out! As you can see.. I really like my new camera.. and Ava really likes cheesing for it! Enjoy :):):)

Ava's 1st haircut
After two years... the time had finally come for Ava's first haircut. I was really hoping (for 2 years) that her hair would grow some thickness or she'd lose the baby mullet.. but neither really happened, so we took her in for a new 'do. She threw a fit! These were the happy pictures I was able to take pre-meltdown. The after picture was taken at Noodles and Company at lunch... the the final picture was taken after I'd finished cutting what the stylist didn't get and put the mommy touches on it. I didn't realize how long her hair had gotten in the back until the stylist told me she'd cut off 3 inches! The front really didn't need much of a trim, but her "bob" is definitely adorable. Check back soon for Chiefs playoff pictures :( and more Ava cuteness!
