Easter *part one*

Here are a few pictures from our weekend so far in McPherson. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter!

Road trip!

We've been waiting for months now (okay, since Christmas) to take out Ava's new car! It was a beautiful 65 today in KC so we went for a little road trip around our neighborhood. Ava absolutely loves her car; so much so that we couldn't get her out of it to come eat dinner -- she refused!

Miss Personality

Today I was playing with my camera in the kitchen and Ava started posing... so here is my little miss personality and her many faces. She definitely knows what to do when the camera is around :) She is so much fun these days and is just so full of it. Enjoy!

The 101 and more weekend pics!

The NFL 101 awards banquet.. need I say more? My dad told me last year that he would take me and he made due on his promise! It was an INCREDIBLE night. It was held right here in Kansas City and was quite the extravagant black tie event! The 101 banquet hands out the trophies for such awards as the AFC & NFC Offensive/Defensive Player of the Year, coaches of the year, the NFL Man of the Year, etc. This years award recipients were Darrell Revis (Jets), Charles Woodson (Packers), Drew Brees (Saints), PEYTON MANNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (need I say more), Sean Payton (Saints), Marvin Lewis (Bengals), and the NFL Man of the Year Brian Waters (Chiefs). Awards were also presented to Jamaal Charles, Mr. Irrelevant Ryan Succop, and Marty Schottenheimer. It was an absolutely amazing night and it was so much fun seeing all of my favorite players (in tuxes) and wearing a ball gown for the first time since.. probably prom. Thank you dad for such an AMAZING night and I can't wait to go again next year (haha)!

super bowl sunday

Sorry it's been so long since I blogged.. we finally bought a new camera so I have some new pictures! At Ava's 15 month checkup, she weighed in at 24.25 lbs and 32 inches tall. She is doing really well and makes us laugh non-stop. She has started talking and has been signing for a couple months now. Her favorite phrases are "hi dad" and "what's this." Other than that.. we have more snow so we haven't been out doing much. Enjoy the pics!!!!!!!
