Memorial Weekend (part 1)

We traveled to Mac this weekend for some R & R. Ava had SO much fun at nana and poppa's house, as she got to experience TWO exciting firsts! When we arrived Sunday night, we took Ava for her very first swim. She LOVED IT! Then, later that night, nana made a huge dinner and for dessert, she made homemade ice cream. No time like the present for Ava to have her first taste! These are some pictures and I will upload the ones from our camera later. Hope y'all had a nice long weekend!

Abby's Graduation

This past Sunday we traveled to Manhattan, KS to attend my cousin Abby's high school graduation. While we were there, Ava had the opportunity to meet and play with two of her cousins, Phoebe and Ainsley. Phoebe is six months older than Ava and Ainsley is one day younger. She was very curious and had a lot of fun with them. They were all so cute! Congrats on your graduation Abby and good luck at KSU!

Ava goes to music class!

We are taking Ava to the Gymboree music and learning center for a class for 6-10 month olds where we sing songs, play games, socialize with the other children and parents, and work on development. Ava LOVES it! Here are some pictures and a video from today's class. Enjoy!

We were supposed to take Ava to her first Royals baseball game on Friday night, but it was raining pretty good here so she didn't get to go. Oh well, we still got some cute pictures anyways!
